Aha! Builder is the PM coding tool to create trusted business applications using AI.
Aha! Builder is now available — create prototypes and business applications with AI
I have had the great fortune to speak with hundreds of product leaders within the past few months. It has been one of my favorite periods over the last 13 years at Aha! These conversations reinforced a simple truth: Product managers are extraordinarily good at identifying what should exist. You know what your customers want and what your colleagues need to operate more efficiently. The conversations also highlighted that the way we are collectively building software is radically changing. Today, we are giving you a way to build what you need and continue to meet enterprise standards.
Aha! Builder is officially available to everyone today. Start creating prototypes and secure business applications of any kind.
We built Aha! Builder for product managers who know what should exist and want a way to deliver it. You need more than a simple text box where you prompt your way to a random result. Start by defining your vision, the people you are serving, and the desired user experience. Elle, our AI assistant, uses that foundation to generate an interactive prototype or a complete application — user interfaces, database, and all.
The building itself is incredibly fast. You can go from describing your vision to reviewing the finished product in a few minutes. Maybe you want to test a new onboarding flow and get user feedback before committing engineering resources. Or your PM team has been asking for a market analysis dashboard to track competitive activity. These are the kinds of efforts that used to take weeks of design and engineering time (if you could even align the resources). But now, a PM can have them ready for review by the end of the day.
You are now a product builder. You refine what you build through conversations with Elle in the same way you would work through a problem with a colleague. Elle writes all the code, and there is full transparency into what has been generated. You can invite teammates to review or contribute at any point and track one another's work.
The person closest to the problem can now be the one who builds the solution — no technical skills required, no queue to wait in.
Learn more about what is available in Aha! Builder
There are general-purpose AI coding tools available today that are useful for software engineers producing code across a broad range of projects. However, they are limited to one model. Aha! Builder uses the best model available for each task — from text to image to code generation. In short, Aha! Builder is built differently:
Strategy-first: You define your vision and users before anything gets generated.
Enterprise-ready from the start: Database, secrets, authentication, and security and privacy reviews are built in.
Secure by default: The building process automatically separates the user interface from the back end and restricts database access.
Built-in design system: Apply your own brand styles so everything is consistent with your existing software.
Feedback capture included: Put a prototype or app in front of people, collect input directly, and promote the best requests into your product backlog.
Connected to your roadmap: Aha! Builder is part of the Aha! suite — features can be assigned from Aha! Roadmaps, and status updates flow back automatically.
AI-powered experiences: Embed AI capabilities into the tools you build for your end users.
We opened our early access program (EAP) in February. Then, we spent the following weeks in conversation with product leaders about what becomes possible when a PM can build and how traditional product development frameworks need to adapt. Most enterprise frameworks assume formal planning cycles and cross-functional handoffs. When an individual PM is building, several of those phases can be combined or removed. We published a streamlined version of The Aha! Framework for this, which covers vision through deploying to production.
If you can describe it, you can build it. That is the promise of Aha! Builder.
Working closely with our EAP customers confirmed that security is nonnegotiable for enterprise teams. What you build will likely hold sensitive business data, and organizations need to trust it will be protected. Aha! software is ISO 27001 certified and backed by more than a decade of enterprise operations, and that same standard applies to everything created in Aha! Builder.

Here is a closer look at what you can do with Aha! Builder:
Build prototypes and applications
Describe what you want, and Elle will build it in minutes. We asked Elle to create a performance dashboard for an existing application (the fictitious Fredwin Cycling). Elle generates the interface and database, which is ready for people to explore and give feedback on.
Match your brand style
What you build should look and feel like it came from your company. We uploaded a screenshot of the Fredwin Cycling application to give Elle a starting point. Then, we created a custom theme to further tailor the colorway, typography, and buttons to align with our design system. (Aha! Builder also provides pre-set themes you can choose from.)
Gather user feedback
Getting real input before committing to a direction makes all the difference. Because hosting and authentication are already built in, moving a prototype into production takes just a few clicks. Here, we shared the dashboard link with customers so they can start exploring. A feedback widget lets folks give input directly from the prototype — and those requests flow straight into the features board.
Meet enterprise governance standards
You need what you ship to pass your organization's security review. Say your team is also building a full internal application — like a marketing asset manager for the Fredwin Cycling team. You can enable secure sign-in, run built-in security and privacy reviews, and share the findings with IT before going live. As the team begins using the application in earnest, the Aha!-managed AWS cloud environment ensures we will not run into surprise infrastructure issues.
Integrate with Aha! Roadmaps
Building is more powerful when it stays connected to your strategy and prioritization work. Aha! Builder connects directly to Aha! Roadmaps, so you can assign features for Elle to implement. In this example, we prioritized an improvement for the marketing asset tracker. The status will automatically update in Aha! Roadmaps once Elle completes the work.
Everything your organization builds — whether by the engineering team from Aha! Roadmaps or by product managers in Aha! Builder — can now be planned and managed in one place.
Aha! Builder is available in three plans: Pro ($59/user/month), Team ($99/user/month), and Scale ($149/user/month). Each plan includes a generous number of AI credits and one fully deployed application on our proven infrastructure. There is no cost for users to give you feedback on prototypes or to use your production applications. Your free 14-day trial starts with Aha! Builder Scale, and you can purchase any plan later. If you already use Aha! Roadmaps or Aha! Ideas, you can try the product and selectively upgrade users in your account to include Aha! Builder capabilities. Email support@aha.io if you need help getting started.
The Aha! suite has grown over the past 13+ years to support every phase of product development. Today, more than 1 million product builders use our software to plan, build, and deliver products their customers love. With Aha! Builder, you can now do something that was never possible before: be the product manager and the product builder. And you can meet your IT and security policies.
I started this post by sharing that this has been a remarkable few months. Bringing a new product to market that people actually find lovable is one of the greatest challenges in business. That is why I am so grateful for all of the companies that used Aha! Builder during our early access program and spent meaningful time giving us feedback. It was inspiring to see what you built. Unimaginable, actually. The product that we just launched is a tribute to each of you. And I am eager to see what everyone else does next.
