Introducing the AI prompt library for product development teams
Imagine you are defining a major new product feature. You need to analyze user feedback, research competitive solutions, write clear requirements, and align your team on the approach. Instead of starting from scratch, you have an AI assistant ready to help at each step. And now you also have a trusted playbook to guide the assistant as you move quickly from research to definition to delivery.
We just launched an AI prompt library built specifically for product teams — with proven prompts you can use at every stage of development.
Thousands of you already use the purpose-built AI assistant in Aha! software to accelerate everything from customer research to feature definition. You already know the assistant can handle requests, instructions, and agents — different ways to guide it depending on your task.
Requests tell the AI assistant what you want it to do — such as summarizing feedback, drafting a message, or generating ideas.
Instructions contain specific guidance on how to structure output — such as your company's style guide, team workflows, or preferences.
Agents are intelligent tools that understand your goals and take action without needing detailed instructions each time.
We are now launching a new product development library of 30+ prompts, with more being added every week. This first group is based on what our own product team relies on every day, so you can use the same approaches in your own work.
Together, they cover every stage of product development — from discovery to launch. Use them as-is or customize them to reflect your team's processes. Favorite the prompts you use the most for quick access and add to your Workspace settings to drive consistent, repeatable use across the team.
Ready to check it out? Open the AI assistant and Search the library from the + Add menu or Agents dropdown. Review the details to see how each prompt works, then select the one that best fits your current need. You can also access the AI prompt library from the AI settings page in your Personal or Workspace settings.
The AI assistant is available for all paid Aha! users at no extra cost during an early access period. We plan to introduce usage-based pricing with credits as we learn how teams use it. We will never use customer data to train the models, and built-in safeguards protect sensitive information.
Here are practical examples of a request, instruction, and agent in practice:
Accelerate product discovery
Customer interviews present their own challenges. You want to dig deeper into user pain points and need to gather meaningful insights. But you need to ask open-ended, unbiased questions that avoid assumptions. Use the Interview script format instruction to refine how you approach research — so you get the most value out of every customer conversation.
Pair this instruction with the Interview script generation request to prepare for upcoming research studies.
Connect ideas to strategic initiatives
Let's say you want to identify ideas that support a strategic initiative. The Initiative related ideas request handles this automatically. Add it to your chat from an open initiative, and you will get a list of relevant ideas from your workspace. From there, you can link the ideas directly to the initiative or promote promising ones to features without switching screens.
Save a request to your favorites by hovering over it in the AI assistant chat and selecting the star.
Standardize feature definition
Feature descriptions tend to vary across a team, which makes it difficult to maintain standards and keep everyone aligned. The Feature definition agent helps solve this by providing a template for them. It pulls in linked goals, initiatives, and ideas to draft consistent feature descriptions. Customize the agent to reflect your internal style or product language, then add it to your workspace or workspace line so anyone on the team can produce standardized outputs.
Use custom instructions alongside your agent to apply your company's style guide automatically.
Structured prompts turn AI from a trial-and-error tool into a reliable part of your product workflow.
