Insights reports in Aha! Discovery turn customer interviews into ready-to-share stories — with help from AI.
8 new customer insights reports for product discovery
You finish a round of customer interviews, and the requests start coming in. Your VP wants a summary of what you learned. The design team needs context for a journey-mapping session. The research is all there — it just needs to be framed differently depending on who will read it.
Use Aha! Discovery to turn any research study into a polished insights report in seconds. Choose from eight new research reports, like JTBD and voice of the customer, and let AI assistant Elle handle the rest.
Share customer insights in the right format
Aha! Discovery gives product, research, and UX teams a foundation for reporting on customer insights. Insights reports help you organize learnings from a single interview or multiple conversations in a study, then connect them to related records on your roadmap. Tailoring a report to a specific audience, though, has meant rearranging content and rewriting summaries by hand.
Today's update both expands and accelerates your reporting options. Choose from eight purpose-built templates designed for the most widely used research frameworks (more on each one below). Elle compiles the report and selects relevant highlights to include. You can also pull in related research files for additional context, like market analysis and usage data.
This helps your entire team move from scattered learnings to shared understanding — so research is easy to reference and use in everyday product work.
Here is what you can do with the new templates:
Executive summary: Share a concise overview of important findings, challenges, and opportunities.
JTBD: Summarize customer jobs, pains, and desired outcomes in a structured view.
Journey map: Capture key stages, actions, and emotions across the customer journey.
Opportunity solution tree: Organize outcomes, opportunities, and solution ideas in a structured hierarchy.
Persona analysis: Deepen understanding of key personas, including their goals, behaviors, and frustrations.
Problem validation: Validate whether a problem is worth solving based on frequency and impact.
Product messaging: Translate research findings into value propositions and key messages for marketing.
Voice of the customer: Highlight representative customer feedback by theme and sentiment.
Insights reports are now available for Aha! Discovery Advanced customers. If you need to share findings with people outside your Aha! account, you can publish any report as a secure webpage — no login required.
