Just Launched! — New Reports to Track Trending Ideas
If you already use Aha! for idea management, then you know how powerful it is to give your customers a voice. And it is both your responsibility and privilege as a product manager to decide which ideas matter most. Because we all know that what is urgent to one customer might not resonate with another.
We just made evaluating product ideas a bit easier with new reporting capabilities — so you can quickly analyze trends.
Aha! has powerful reporting capabilities, allowing you to organize, visualize, and analyze all of your product data in one place. This includes identifying the next great idea that will bring your customers joy and your business the most value.
We already provided several example reports for evaluating ideas in our library of pre-defined reports in Aha! But we knew we could do more to help you discover what customers were requesting most.
So, we created new data fields (idea vote by month and year) and a new filter (idea created date). We used those fields to add two new “trending ideas” example reports — which can be accessed from the reports dashboard. You can also use the fields to build out custom reports.
Here is what these new trending ideas reports will help you do:
View trends across each ideas category Visualize the most requested ideas organized by themes. This chart report shows you the total number of votes across each category — so you can quickly identify the areas of your product that customers are most interested in.
Share your findings with the team by adding the report to an Aha! notebook.
Identify popular ideas based on recent votes This pivot report is helpful when you want to understand how many votes an idea received within a specific timeframe. Review the top ideas by vote count — helping you pinpoint what is most important to your customers now.
Select the vote created date filter to change the timeframe you want to view.
Now you can quickly get the insights you need — so you can promote more ideas to features and get busy building.
And if you have not yet set up an Aha! ideas portal, what are you waiting for? Watch this video to get started today.
