Visualize customer evidence across the user journey with whiteboards in Aha! Discovery.
Analyze customer interview highlights on a whiteboard
Interviews are central to understanding what customers really need. Aha! Discovery is ideal for product research and helps you uncover key insights. You can use AI to summarize the meetings, identify key learnings, and share your findings with the team. Today, we are introducing a new way to showcase what you have discovered.
Visually analyze findings from customer interviews on a whiteboard in Aha! Discovery — so you can quickly move from research to action.
Start by creating a list report of the interview highlights you want to see on your whiteboard (filtering by type, tag, or date, if helpful). Export highlights to whiteboards, where they are added as individual objects that you can move around freely. Use built-in templates to organize findings. Then, collaborate with the team to discuss insights and identify opportunities to improve your product.
Whiteboards are now available to all Aha! Discovery Advanced customers. Use a full set of whiteboard tools to spark inspiration — capture observations with sticky notes or model new experiences with shapes, icons, and images alongside interview highlights.
Let's look at how to map customer insights to support product planning:
Add insights to a whiteboard
Let's say we just wrapped up a research study interviewing customers using an important new feature. We want to find opportunities to improve the experience at different points in the journey — identifying both pain points and positive moments along the way. To get started, we filter a list report to focus on recent highlights tagged with the words "struggle," "like," and "desire." Then, we send those curated insights to a whiteboard.

Highlights are automatically organized by study and interview so you retain context as you work.
Map customer evidence to the user journey
Next, we organize the insights using the Customer journey map template. In the trial consideration stage, we drop in a quote from an interview: "During my trial, it was unclear if this integrated with our other wellness platforms." And in the retention stage, we highlight a positive moment: "Once I discovered the route planner, I used it every day." This visual narrative brings actual customer feedback forward and showcases what is working well and areas for improvement.

Resize highlight boxes to show more or less context, as needed.
Collaborating on feedback from interviews helps your team make decisions that are grounded in customer realities.
We have shown how you can map feedback to a user journey. But you can just as easily put it on a customer empathy map, opportunity solution tree, or any whiteboard template of your choosing — and align on product priorities with actual customer evidence.
Today's update gives you a powerful new way to promote the voice of the customer. Share the whiteboard with guests or include it in a presentation to guide strategic conversations.
