Aha! Discovery is the fastest way to turn customer conversations into insights that guide product decisions. You want to analyze as many customer conversations as you can. And when you cannot be part of them yourself, having the transcript to review makes that possible. Of course, you could already import Gong transcripts into Aha! Discovery as TXT files, though that required a few extra steps.
The new Gong integration takes the manual work out of it. When a sales or account manager tells you about an interesting call containing product feedback, you can now add the relevant Gong call link to your interview in Aha! Discovery. Then, automatically import the call recording and transcript with a single click. From there, you can:
Capture insights beyond scheduled research: Analyze conversations you were not part of and surface product feedback hidden in sales discussions.
Accelerate analysis: Use the AI assistant to quickly assess sentiment, extract customer quotes, and identify key learnings.
Connect insights to plans: Link your findings to the related product work across Aha! Roadmaps — in initiatives, features, personas, or ideas — to keep decisions grounded in real input.
Sales conversations become part of the evidence that informs your product decisions.

The Gong integration is available for Aha! Discovery Advanced customers. You can use Aha! Discovery as a standalone product or alongside Aha! Roadmaps to connect the voice of the customer directly to your product roadmap.

How to get started
To set up this integration, you must be a Tech Admin in Gong and an Owner in Aha! Discovery.
In Aha! Discovery, go to Settings Account Integrations.
Add the Gong integration and authenticate to your Gong account.
Choose the Gong workspace you want to connect to Aha! Discovery.
Create a new Interview in Aha! Discovery to add Gong call data to.
Paste the Gong call URL into the Gong call field in the interview drawer.
Click Import call data to fetch the recording and transcript from Gong.
