Collect more details about customer requests with a new proxy vote form in Salesforce — so you can deepen your understanding of customer needs and make better product decisions.
Customer-facing teams already use our Salesforce integration to create new ideas and submit proxy votes on behalf of customers. And you can view those proxy votes (along with the linked account and opportunity data) in Aha! Ideas to better understand the business value behind each request. But having even more context about a customer's request is helpful — you can better understand the "why" behind each proxy vote.
Now, you can use proxy vote forms directly in Salesforce to capture additional details about customer requests. First, make sure you have enabled proxy voting in the ideas portal you use with your Salesforce integration. Configure the portal's proxy vote form to capture the details you need. Then, turn on the new Show proxy vote form setting in the Salesforce integration.
Teammates will automatically see the proxy vote form when they add or link an idea in Salesforce. Once they fill in additional details about the customer's use case, you can view this information in Aha! Ideas — just like any other proxy vote information.
This new functionality is available as part of Aha! Ideas Advanced, the perfect plan for companies that want to expand the ways they collect feedback. It includes features such as Salesforce and Zendesk integrations, dynamic forms, and in-app widgets.
