March 28, 2024 Pending replacement of mockups
On April 9, 2024, we will be deprecating the current mockups functionality and replacing it with whiteboards. With whiteboards, you can create diagrams, flow charts, and wireframes. You will still be able to view mockups you have already added to records in your account, but you will no longer be able to edit them from within your Aha! account.
What is changing?
We will be removing the Create mockup link that is currently under the record description field on Aha! records, and replacing it with a link to create a whiteboard. Mockups use the Draw.io open source project. We will not be migrating mockups to whiteboards. You will still be able to view or download mockups you have already added to records.
With whiteboards in Aha! Roadmaps, you can create and share visual concepts in the same tool you use for building roadmaps, setting strategy, and planning work. Whiteboards eliminate the need to use other tools or integrations for building diagrams or wireframes.
When is it changing?
We will remove the ability to add mockups to records and add a link to add a whiteboard on April 9, 2024.
Who is affected?
Customers who use Draw.io mockups in Aha! Roadmaps will be impacted.
What will happen to my mockups?
You will be able to view mockups that you have already added to Aha! records, but you will no longer be able to edit them from Aha! Roadmaps. When viewing a mockup, you will have two options to download it:
Download XML and upload to Draw.io to edit your mockup there.
Download image and add the image to a whiteboard.
What do I need to do?
If you do not use mockups in Aha! Roadmaps, you do not need to do anything. If you currently use mockups and would like to continue using them, you can download them and use them in Draw.io.
